Release Notes

This release includes a new type of Bloomberg API request: IntradayTickRequests. This release also fixes one bug.
  • IntradayTickRequests: From the Bloomberg API documentation: Bloomberg maintains a tick-by-tick history going back 140 days for all securities where streaming data is available. This intraday data can be used to draw detailed charts, for technical analysis, or to retrieve the initial data for a monitoring graph function such as the GIP<GO> function on the BLOOMBERG PROFESSIONAL service.
    • I included a sample IntradayTickRequest in the Examples project. You can run the Examples.exe executable and push "4" to see an IntradayTickRequest in action. You can inspect the code to see how to make a request.
  • FieldData[] I fixed a small problem with HistoricalDataRequests. A historical data response contains an element named "fieldData" that is an array. When you call ToString() on this element, you'll see "fieldData[]" in there. I originally had the Name of this element "fieldData[]". That is incorrect behavior. The Name should be "fieldData". This is fixed as of v1.0.2.
